EMMA CAMERON

Emma D. Cameron died at Crowell Memorial Home on January 29, 1987.

Mrs. Cameron was born one mile south of Spiker, Nebraska, on November 21, 1892, to Christian F. Holstein and Christina Paulsen.

She attended the Spiker School through the 8th grade and was confirmed in the Danish Lutheran Church at Orum.

On November 7, 1917, Emma was united in marriage to Mack Cameron, also of Spiker area, where they lived all their lives.

Cameron was a member of the Herman Federated United Methodist Church; the Herman Legion Auxiliary, and the Jolly Workers Club.

She is survived by her three daughters: Mrs. Bus (Sadie) Hansen of Omaha; Mrs. Harry (Hattie) Andreasen of Kennard; Mrs. Gene (Joan) Christiansen of Herman; and one son, Jack Cameron of Herman; also by 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by one brother, Dewey Holstein of Fremont, and one sister, Hattie Skov of Sioux Rapids, Iowa.

Mrs. Cameron was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Bill Cameron.

Services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Herman United Methodist Church with graveside services at the Herman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Douglas Cameron, Mack Cameron, Steve Cameron, Terry Cameron, Jeffrey Christiansen and Ronald Hansen.
