Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 18, at the Campbell Mortuary, for Nettie Mae Fackler, who died on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at Blair Memorial Hospital. She was 95 years old.

The pallbearers were the six sons of the deceased, with burial in the Springfield, Nebr., cemetery.

Nettie Mae Schneider, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schneider, was born at Cedar Creek, Nebr., on Nov. 20, 1876. She was united in marriage to George R. Fackler of Springfield, Nebr., in 1895. To this union were born two daughters, Mrs. Helen Hurst of Burwell, Nebr., and Mrs. Grace Petersen of Wausa, Nebr., and six sons, Glow of Burwell, Nebr., Howard of Arion, Ia., Wayne of Shawnee, Okla., Paul of Neosho, Mo.; Ray of Millard, Nebr.; and Harold of Whittier, Calif., all of whom survive. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and only brother, Walter Schneider.

The Facklers farmed north of Blair for a number of years and later farmed west of Bennington. In recent years, she has made her home in an apartment at her son, Ray’s home in Millard, Nebr.

She enjoyed good health all her life and was hospitalized following a fall at her home a week ago.
