Frieda Schneider, 98, died Wednesday, April 2, 1997 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

Services were Saturday at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Schneider was born June 14, 1898 in Rickert, Germany to Max and Anna (Ehlers) Harder. She immigrated to the United States in April of 1912 with her parents. On Aug. 10, 1917, she married Charles E. Schneider.

Survivors are a daughter-in-law, Margaret Schneider of Hemet, California; a niece and her husband, Frieda and Elmer Petersen of Bennington and a granddaughter, Joyce Page.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who died April 18, 1982; a son, Edward; nine sisters and five brothers.

Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.
