LEROY CAMPBELL, 67

Funeral services for LeRoy Campbell, 67, of Blair, were held Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at First United Methodist Church in Blair, with interment in the Blair Cemetery. Mr. Campbell died Friday, Dec. 20, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

LeRoy Campbell was born May 13, 1935, in Blair to Howard F. Campbell and Ethel (McMurtrie) Jensen.

He attended school in Blair. On Aug. 22, 1953, he married Lois McIntosh.

He lived his entire life in Blair, and worked for Kelly-Ryan Manufacturing and later for Central Steel & Wire in Omaha, retiring in 1989. He had served as president of the Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin and Cathy Campbell, and Kent Campbell, all of Blair; daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Roy Majors of Kennard, Angela and Andrea Campbell of Omaha, Tricia and Mark Thibodeau of Omaha; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Campbell of Olathe, Kan., and Howard C. and Anne Campbell of Blair; one sister, Delores McIntosh of Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Thelma Campbell, and Oscar and Ethel Jensen, and sons, Michael and Dirk.
