LESLIE CAMPBELL IS BURIED ON MONDAY
Funeral services were held Monday, August 23, at First Methodist Church for Leslie Vernon Campbell, 70, who died August 20, 1982, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
The Rev. Gordon Patterson conducted the services. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.
Leslie Vernon Campbell was born in Blair on March 28, 1912, to Burt and Katherine Stricklett Campbell. He was married to Marie Hillman. He operated the Lil Duffer Restaurant in Blair in Blair at one time.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, Blair; two sons, Charles “Buzz” Campbell, Blair; and Vernon Campbell, Kingsport, Tennessee; and one daughter, Mrs. Don “Helen” Wetzel, Omaha. Ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard Campbell, Hudson, Florida; and two sisters, Mrs. Laura Wilson, and Mrs. Mildred Clark, both of Blair, also survive him.
Pallbearers were Russ Campbell, Joe Foral, Kevin Hall, Terry Perkins, Mark Wetzel and Sam Wetzel.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
