Died At Arlington

Funeral services for Charles Fagg 90 years old, who passed away Monday evening at his home here in Arlington are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday afternoon at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Z. M. Bressler conducting the service. Mrs. Otto Renard and Therlo Reckmeyer will sing two solos, accompanied by Mrs. Farnum Franzenburg at the organ.

Mr. Fagg was born December 23, 1863, at Danvers, Illinois, son of Thomas M. Fagg and Susan Wescott Fagg. At the age of twenty years, he came to Nebraska and has farmed all his life. On August 19, 1891, he was married to Miss Emily Thompson, who survives him. To that union four children were born. One daughter, Miss Bessie, taught and died in the Philippines in the ‘20s.

Mr. and Mrs. Fagg moved to a small acreage near Arlington in 1912, where they lived for thirty two years, then retired to their present home.

Surviving besides the widow are one son, Tom of North Platte, two daughters, Mrs. P. L. Christiansen of Bennington and Mrs. James Keenan of Arlington, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Leonard Thompson, Vernon Thompson, Lawrence Thompson, Loren Masters, Lt. C. C. Christiansen and James Keenan.

The Reckmeyer Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Charles Fagg is Dead Age 90

Funeral Set for Today at Arlington for a Longtime Resident

Charles Fagg, 90, long a resident of the Arlington community, died at his home there Monday. He was born in Danvers, Ill., Dec. 23, 1863, and came to Arlington some 70 years ago.

Mr. Fagg and Miss Emily Thompson were married at Arlington Aug. 19, 1891. They lived on farms near Arlington before moving into town about 10 years ago.

Surviving Mr. Fagg are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. P. J. Christiansen of Bennington and Mrs. James Keenan of Arlington; and one son, Thomas Fagg of North Platte; also four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Bess, preceded him in death.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday at the Methodist Church in Arlington. The Rev. Z. M. Bressler of the Congregational Church will officiate.
