VINA MARGUERITE FOLEY CAMPBELL, 95

Vina Foley Campbell, 95, formerly of Blair, died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, in Omaha.

Services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Nenzel.

A rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, at Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler Funeral Chapel, 7805 West Center Road in Omaha, and at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at Sandoz Funeral Home in Valentine.

Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Valentine.

Vina Marguerite Foley was born March 21, 1904 to Jeremiah and Marie Louise Foley in Blair.

A graduate of Wayne State Teacher’s College and St. Catherine’s School of Nursing in Omaha, she taught school in the Blair area for 10 years.

On Feb. 9, 1937, she married Harry Lee Campbell, president of the Farmer’s State Bank in Kilgore. The couple resided in Kilgore until they sold the bank in 1968. They moved to Nenzel, and were members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Gerald Melchoir and Anne and Robert Marshall, all of Omaha; Sister Susan Campbell, RSCJ, and Sister Connie Campbell, RSCJ, both of San Diego, Calif; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Joanne Campbell of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Richard and Isabelle Campbell of Denver, Colo.; and Joan Campbell of Lincoln; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Rosalie Hogan of Sylvania, Ohio, Beatrice Howard and Teresa Reeh, both of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, John Campbell; and her daughter, Marie Heth.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church in Nenzel, St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Omaha, or the American Cancer Society.

Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler are in charge of arrangements.
