Mary D. Colon, 69, of Omaha, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, in Omaha.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, Nov. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. at the church.

Mary D. Crawford was born July 15, 1944, to Arthur C. and Mary B. (Garcia) Crawford.

She had lived in San Antonio, Texas, in her earlier years and had lived in Omaha for the last 12 years.

She married her first husband, now deceased, Howard Brumfield on April 2, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas.

She married her second husband, now deceased, Nelson J. Tindee in Boise, Idaho, on Aug. 4, 1978.

On May 7, 2006, she married Ernesto L. Colon in Omaha.

She is survived by her husband, Ernesto L. Colon of Omaha; son James Brumfield of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Daniel Esparza of San Antonio; daughter Sarah Jane Hicks of San Antonio; daughter and son-in-law, Jeannine and Daniel Nagel of Omaha; son and daughter-in-law Jason and Sandra Brumfield of Butler, Mo.; son and daughter-in–law Richie and Michelle Colon of Omaha;17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph Arthur Brumfield; and her father, Arthur C. Crawford.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
