Meta Matthiesen Dies In Europe

Miss Meta Matthiesen, 80, died March 7 in Munich, Germany. She and her sister Bertha, who have made their home in Pasadena, California, have traveled extensively. They left for Europe last October intending to make their home on the European continent.

Miss Matthiesen was a sister of the late Ed Matthiesen of Blair. Survivors besides her sister, Bertha, are several cousins and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Ed Matthiesen. Cousins in Washington County are Mrs. Ed Jipp, Sr., Mrs. Bill Wilson, Mrs. E.S.B. Geesaman, Celia Rohwer and George Rohwer.

Relatives are awaiting word of funeral arrangements.
