Services Held In Iowa For Alice Petersen

Funeral services were held on Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Sidney, Iowa, for Alice Petersen, 62, of Fort Calhoun. She passed away at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair on July 29, 1980. She was the wife of George Petersen of Fort Calhoun.

Mrs. Petersen was born in Sidney, Iowa, where she attended school and graduated from Sidney High School. She was married in 1940 to George A. Petersen of Omaha.

Survivors include her husband; one step-son, Duane Petersen; her mother, Elizabeth Greedy; a brother, Robert Greedy; and several nieces and nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Mrs. Petersen was a member of Narcissus Chapter of the Order of Easter Star and a Daughter of the Nile.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements, with a memorial service in Fort Calhoun on Wednesday evening at the Funeral Home. Interment was made in Sidney, Iowa.
