Clara L. Petersen Died At Hospital Early Wednesday

Mrs. Clara L. Petersen, a resident of 1517 Jackson Street, died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair early Wednesday. She was 79 years old.

Mrs. Petersen was born at Herman, June 25, 1890 and spent virtually her entire life in that area. She was married to Alfred Petersen on March 22, 1912, in Blair, and the couple farmed near Herman for many years. They retired and moved to Blair about 25 years ago. Her husband preceded her in death August 16, 1967.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters. Another son died in infancy.

The sons are Arnold Petersen, of Blair, and Hubert Petersen of Fremont. The daughters: Mrs. R.R. Kindler (Violet) of Glendale, California and Mrs. Don Petersen (Elna) of Blair. There are nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Amanda Rasmussen, lives at Kennard.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday afternoon, November 21st at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. The Rev. Robert Albers will conduct the service. Burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home will be made in the Herman Cemetery.
