Donald Petersen, 81

Services for Donald Petersen, 81 of Blair who died at Memorial Community Hospital December 21, 1991 will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 24 at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Donald E. Petersen was born August 19, 1910 at Neligh, Nebraska to Jess and Ruth Hall Petersen.

He married Elna Petersen. She preceded him in death in 1985.

On March 21, 1986 he married Phyllis Linder at Blair.

He worked for the Tyson Company, and Nebraska-Iowa Oil Company as a tank truck driver. Later he worked for Kelly Ryan Equipment Company and Vinton Motors, retiring in 1972.

He served in the armed forces during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Surviving him are his wife, Phyllis; step-sons, Dick Linder, Everett, Washington and Joe Linder, Columbus, Nebraska; step-daughter, Cecelia Thompson, Cook, Nebraska; 6 step-grandchildren, nephews and nieces and many friends.

Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church of Crowell Memorial Home.
