In the death of Mrs. M. H. B. Rosenbalm, which took place Sunday afternoon, the community loses another of its pioneer settlers, a woman who had gone through many hardships in the early days and realized fully the trials of pioneer life.

Mrs. Rosenbalm had been a sufferer from asthma since 1883, but had not been bedfast with the trouble until last December, when she was compelled to take her bed. There were times when she would rally, but her friends felt that it would be her last sickness and on Sunday she passed quietly away. The funeral was held from the late home Tuesday afternoon and interment made in the cemetery east of town, no services being conducted.
