Services were Friday, April 14 at Arlington Community Church in Arlington for Augusta “Gussie” Rosenbaum, 86 who died Monday, April 10, 1989 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County, Fremont. Rev. Robert Saunders officiated. Burial was in the Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
Augusta “Gussie” Rosenbaum was born October 18, 1902 in Madison, Nebraska. She grew up at Madison, Nebraska and after her marriage to Eugene Rosenbaum in August 21, 1926 at Nebraska City, Nebraska they moved to Fremont. They moved to Arlington in 1946.
She was a member of Arlington Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Augusta Pridal Mavis; her husband, Eugene; brother, Herman and Albert Mavis; and sisters, Mary Lich, Emma Ray, Tillie Donovan and Bertha Bertram.
She is survived by a son, Phillip Rosenbaum of Grimes, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Donna) Wulf of Arlington; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Bill Foley, Daniel Conway, Aaron Rosenbaum, Keith Rosenbaum, Rick Wulf and Gene Witthuhn. Ruby House was organist. Memorials may be given to the church or the Arlington Rescue Squad.
Reckmeyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
