Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard for Carrie Rosenbaum, 80 of Kennard, who died Feb. 23, 1997 in Longmont, Colo. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Carrie Rosenbaum was born Dec. 5, 1916 in Plainview, Nebr. to Henry and Carrie Schultz Uterman. The family moved to Fremont where she attended school and then moved to the Kennard and Washington County area where they farmed. She married Walter Rosenbaum May 15, 1935.

In 1963, they moved to Colorado. She worked at Bi-Rite Drugstore for 6 ½ years. In 1974, they moved back to Kennard, where they spent the rest of their lives.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald and Rodney, both of Kennard; Donald of Fremont; three daughters, Sharon Pedersen of Longmont, Colo.; Connie Sheets of Blair; Marsha Vogt of Blair; five sisters, Helena Jensen of Arlington; Wilma Plugge of Arlington; Verna Helmsing of Foristell, Mo.; Dorothy Plugge of Blair and Mildred Butterfield of West Point, Nebr.; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
