Donald Rosenbaum to be buried in Fremont

Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont for Donald J. “Rosie” Rosenbaum, 56, who died November 26, 1983, in an Omaha hospital.

The Rev. Dana J. Mark will officiate. Military graveside services will be by the Fremont American Legion Post No. 20 and VFW Post No. 854 at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Donald J. Rosenbaum was born December 5, 1926, at Kennard to Clyde and Hulda Kempcke Rosenbaum. He lived in Kennard until 1950, living in Blair from 1950-1952. In 1952, he moved to Fremont.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 200 at Fremont, the Lutheran Church, was a veteran of Would War II, Army Military Police and BT Verein Association at Bennington.

He married Yvonne Furstenau on December 13, 1947. She survives. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, June.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; one son, Dan, of Fremont; and two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Donna) Tenton of Oakland and Diane Perkins of Fremont. Brothers, Roy and Lyle, both of Kennard, and Raymond of Blair; a sister Mrs. Harold (Erma) Roumph, of Cedar Bluffs; and two step grandchildren also survive him.

Moser Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
