Funeral services for Dora Mae Rosenbaum, 83, who died September 3, 1989 at Good Shepherd Home, were held Wednesday, September 6, at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery

. She was born June 6, 1906 in Bennington, Nebraska to George and Mary Auch Dierks. She married Chester Rosenbaum on September 3, 1924. To this union four children were born, Mrs. John (LaVon) Miller of Lincoln, Neil of Kennard, Bruce of Kennard and Donavan, who preceded her in death.

She lived all her married life in the Kennard area and the last two years in the Good Shepherd Home.

Others who survive are 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry Dierks and a sister, Mary Corcoran, both of Inglewood, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Donovan; brothers, John, George, Hans, Fredrick and Hendrick and sisters, Minnie, Kate and Maggie.

Services were conducted by Rev. Kenneth A. Jensen. Music was provided by Karen Dickey and Jack Jensen.

Pallbearers were Marvin Dierks, Bill McDonald, Gordon McDonald, Rodney Rosenbaum and Glen Vogt.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
