Mrs. Josephine Grace Rosenbaum, a long-time resident of Blair and Washington County, died at Community Memorial Hospital Wednesday, December 18th. She had been in declining health for a number of months.

Mrs. Rosenbaum was the widow of the late Ray Rosenbaum. For many years they lived in Kennard area where they were engaged in farming.

Mrs. Rosenbaum was born at Washington, D.C. January 17th, 1891 and was therefore 77 years of age at the time of her death. She had come to this area as a young woman and had made her home here ever since.

She is survived by a son, William R. Rosenbaum, who operates a farm near Blair. For a time Mrs. Rosenbaum lived on north 25th Avenue, but moved from her home there last Fall.

A sister, Mrs. Mildred Knott, lives at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. There are two grandchildren who are among the survivors.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosenbaum were held Saturday, December 21st at the Methodist Church in Kennard. The Rev. Kermit Roisen, of Blair, conducted the service.

Burial, under the direction of Campbell Mortuary, was made in the Kennard Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Merle Sonderup, Peter Kosmicki, and Robert Proescholdt, all of Blair; Robert Arnold, of Herman, Harold Barton of Arlington and Russell Cunningham of Nickerson.
