Kathryn J. “Jean” Rosenbaum, 70, of Burnsville, Minn., died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at the Presbyterian Home in Roseville, Minn.

Services were Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.

Kathryn J. “Jean” Rosenbaum was born Nov. 11, 1929, to James and Charlotte (Heuerman) Marshall in Arlington. She grew up in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School. She attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont and worked at the Arlington State Bank.

On Dec. 27, 1950, she married Dale L. Rosenbaum in Arlington. The couple lived in several Iowa and Minnesota communities, living in Burnsville, Minn. since 1977. Her husband worked for the Chicago and North Western Railroad.

She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary in Burnsville, Minn. She was a member of Sarepta Chapter #48, Order of Eastern Star in Arlington.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Gary Hennen of Shoreview, Minn.; a brother, W. J. “Jim” Marshall of Gordonville, Texas; a sister, Beverly (Mrs. Roscoe “Buzz”) Osterman of Fremont; and two grandchildren, Andrew and Chelsea Hennen of Shoreview, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Memorials are suggested to the Minnesota Valley Humane Society at 1313 E. Hwy.13, Burnsville, Minn., 55337.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge of the arrangements.
