Mrs. John Lutz Died at Omaha Sat., December 29

Mrs. John Lutz, the former Mary Lou Long, died last Saturday, December 29th, at the Methodist hospital in Omaha. She had been in failing health for a number of months.

Mrs. Lutz was born January 1, 1932, and would have been 42 years of age had she lived two days longer. Mr. and Mrs. Lutz lived at 1943 Washington Street.

Mrs. Lutz was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Long and is survived by her father and by four brothers and four sisters. Her mother preceded her in death. There are also four daughters, all of whom are at home. They are Connie, Pam, Dianne and Amy.

Her brothers are J. B. Long, James Long, both of Blair, Noel Long and Robert Long, both of California. A sister, Mrs. Nona McDonald lives at Blair. Mrs. Anna Lee Henningsen and Mrs. Betty Bunn both live in California. A fourth sister, Mrs. Susie Jensen, resides at Harlan, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Monday, December 31st. The Rev. Robert Bee conducted the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Richard Zimmerman, Jr., Nis Mommsen, Rolland Davis, Jr., Eugene Flynn, Dr. James Thones and C.N. Robinson, Jr.
