Funeral services for Gertrude Marie Petersen were held Saturday, May 17, 1986 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Gertrude died on May 15, 1986 at the Crowell Home. She was born on November 27, 1896 and was united in marriage to Christian J. Petersen who preceded her in death. Gertrude is survived by two sons: Chris Petersen of Los Angeles, California; Donald “Bud” Petersen, Denver, Colorado; two daughters, Rosemary Lewis, Bonne Terre, Missouri; LaDonna Frey of Inglewood, Colorado; one brother George Allbaugh of Omaha, Nebraska. Casket bearers were James Gutschow, Mark Guschow, Jess Wright and John Young, Jr.
