Henry A. Petersen Buried Monday

Henry A. Petersen was born to Frederick and Anna Petersen on October 15, 1885, near Spiker, Nebraska. All of his early life was spent in that community.

On August 2, 1933, he was united in marriage with Anne Petersen, moving soon after that to the Herman community and farming there until 1945 when they changed their residence to Blair. Following a long decline, Henry Petersen succumbed to death last Thursday, October 3, at the age of 77 years. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Surviving him are his wife and three sisters, Nora Gosker of Arlington, Tena Wachter of Omaha, and Mary Carlberg of Fremont.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church in Blair on Monday, October 7th. The Rev. George Pallesen officiated. Burial was in the Blair cemetery with the Bendorf Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers were Raymond Petersen, Bernard and Sherman Gosker, Milton and Rolland Carlberg and Jack Wachter.
