JOHN PETERSEN DIED DEC. 17

John Petersen, aged 83 years, died at the home of his niece, Mrs. William Reeh, on last Thursday, December 17.

Deceased was born in Germany and came to Blair in 1868. He spent most of his life as an employee of the railroad, working for the Union Pacific. He spent seven year in California.

He leaves seven nieces and nephews to mourn his death, Mrs. William Reeh, Mrs. Joe DeVinney, Mr. Walter Petersen and Mr. Hans Petersen, of Blair and Mrs. Fred Christensen, of Hampton, Nebraska, and Mrs. Martin Jacobson, of Phoenix, Arizona.

For the past seven years he has made his home with Mrs. Will Reeh. Funeral services were held Sunday and interment made in the Blair cemetery.
