DIED. In this city last Friday afternoon, of consumption, Mrs. Mary H., wife of C.L. Cannon, aged 83 years.

The father of the deceased was Joseph Fletcher, now dead, and who was well known in Herman township and this county, being a brother of L.R. and S.R. Fletcher, of Bancroft. E.K. Fletcher of Hartington, is a brother and Mrs. Goodman, of Lyons, who attended the funeral, is a sister of the deceased. She was confined to her bed four months and was a patient sufferer until death came to her relief.

The funeral was from the residence last Sunday and services were by Rev. Arlington of the Free Methodist church. The remains were interred in the family lot at the New England Cemetery.
