Funeral services for William E. Schneider, 54, of Des Moines, Iowa, were held March 19, 1988, at Campbell Funeral Home in Blair, with Father Dan Galas officiating.

Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Sylvan E. Schneider, Jr., Charles E. Schneider, Frank Chenaille, Rod Austin, Ronald Purcell and Larry Willis.

He died March 16, 1988, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

William was born March 26, 1933, in Omaha to Sylvan and Viola (LaTour) Schneider. He was employed by the City of Des Moines at the time of his death.

Survivors include children Mrs. Ralph (Kaylin) Aguire of Greeley, Colorado; Mrs. John (Dawnlin) LaPlume and Billylin Schneider, both of Warwick, Rhode Island, three grandchildren, his father, Sylvan E. Schneider, Sr., of Omaha, brother Sylvan E. Schneider, Jr., of Sylmar, California and sisters Viola Johnson of Tacoma, Washington; Mrs. Rodney (Marie) Austin of Omaha and Charles E. Schneider of Kansas City.
