Father of Blair Man Died in Fremont

Services for Harold F. Schnoor, 68, of Scribner are 2 p.m. Friday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Scribner. The Rev. Donald Brunner officiated.

Schnoor, a retired farmer, died Tuesday in the Fremont hospital. He had been ill for about three years.

He was born June 15, 1910, in rural Snyder and farmed there until retiring and moving to Scribner in 1960. He married Viola Flamme of North Bend in Scribner June 17, 1933. She died in 1971.

He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Vakiner of Dodge; sons, LeRoy of Blair, and William of Coleridge; a sister, Mrs. Ewald Jensen of Scribner; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Scribner Cemetery.
