Chas. Ross received word Saturday afternoon of the death of his brother, George M., that morning in Calumet, Mich. The body was brought to Omaha for burial and Mr. Ross went down Monday morning to make arrangements for the funeral, which was held at the Masonic Temple at 1 o’clock today. He was a member of Nebraska Lodge No. I. A. F. & A. M., and that lodge had charge of the burial service. Two years ago he suffered a paralytic stroke while inspecting for the Hartford Boiler Insurance Co., for whom he was working. He lay there for three hours and finally regained consciousness and was able to get home. He was never able to work after that and knew his condition was a hopeless one. He was 44 years of age and leaves a wife, to whom he was married seven years ago. Mrs. Chas. Ross went down this morning to attend the funeral also.
