Mrs. Christina Rosterman, longtime Blair resident, died at Crowell Memorial Home last Sunday, October 1st. She was 83 years of age, having been born January 21st, 1889.

Mrs. Rosterman was the widow of the late Henry Rosterman. She had made her home at 1228 Washington Street.

Mrs. Rosterman, who spent her lifetime as a housewife, was the mother of ten children, two of whom preceded her in death. A son, Harry, perished in a fire in 1957 in Omaha; a daughter, Norma Jane, died at the age of fifteen months.

Two sons, Arnold and Donald Rosterman, reside in Blair. Robert Rosterman lives in Chicago.

The daughters are Mrs. Helen Kearns, of Blair; Mrs. Ruth Schoeman, of Shamlee, Georgia; Mrs. Rose Halstead, of San Leandro, California; Mrs. Carrie Kephardt of Ft. Calhoun and Mrs. Goldie Fleury, of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Ray Phelps conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Lyle Wilcox, Charles Sylvis, Lloyd Nelson, Dale Kephardt, Jerry McCoy and Harold Kephardt.
