Lillian Mae Pope was born on July 21, 1915 in Fremont to Truman and Amanda Pope. Lillian died on August 18, 1984 after a lingering illness with emphysema.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her son Bill, her sister Pearl Holme and her brother Bill Pope.

Harold and Lillian lived in Fremont several years before moving to Omaha where they lived most of their married life. Two children were born. They were Billy and a daughter Charlene.

Harold passed away in January of 1966. Lillian continued to live in Omaha and work at the Uta Halee home for girls. She later lived in Bennington and Fort Calhoun.

She is survived by two sisters, Maude Herre of Fremont, a brother, Aileen Milus of Bennington, and Truman Pope of Rover, Arkansas and her daughter Charlene Heaton of Fort Calhoun.
