MOTHER OF BLAIR RESIDENT BURIED FRIDAY

Margaret E. Roth, a resident of Columbus, Nebraska, was buried at the Columbus Cemetery, Friday morning June 15th. Mrs. Roth was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wolff of Norfolk, Nebraska. She lived in Norfolk until she married the late Walter L. Roth in June 11, 1912, when they moved to Columbus.

Mrs. Roth was a housewife most of her life. She was born at Norfolk, Nebraska, August 9, 1893, and was 79 at the time of her death. She passed away at the Behlen Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

She is survived by one son and three daughters, Mr. Harvey Roth, and Mrs. Leona Leonhard, both of Columbus, Mrs. Margaret Swain of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Mrs. Helen Henderson of Blair. Four sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. She has fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-children.

Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. B.F. Maschke officiating. Family services were held at the Gass-Haney Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bus Viegutz, Jay McDonald, Harold Bryan, Raymond Cattau, Norman Dirks, and Herman Groke.
