Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 24 at First United Methodist Church for Warren Harding Rounds, 60, who died June 21, 1981, at Veteran’s Hospital in Omaha.

Rev. Gordon Patterson conducted the services. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Warren Harding Rounds was born on December 11, 1920, in Oakland, Iowa, to Emmett A. and Agnes P. Tennigkeit Rounds. He was married to Kathleen A. Sprint and they lived at 1334 Prospect, Blair.

He was a veteran of World War II. He served his country in the armed forces from September 8, 1942, to October 29, 1945. He was employed by Terra Chemical Company where he worked in the maintenance area.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of Blair; one son, Steven Rounds, also of Blair; one daughter, Mrs. Rusty (Mary) Rosenbaum of Kennard. His father, Emmett Rounds, of Blair and one sister, Mrs. Fred (Peggy) Wittlinger, of Blair, also survive him.

Pallbearers were Jack Chapman, George Thornburgh, Joe Gutschow, Fred Wittlinger, Gene Olson, and E. T. Thompson.

Katy Flynn provided the music for the services.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
