Services for Violet Rouse, age 82, of Blair who died at Memorial Community Hospital February 28, 1995 will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 2 at Country Bible Church with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Violet L. Rouse was born April 21, 1912 at Shenandoah, Iowa to Ralph and Jennie Hannah Pearce. She graduated from Blair High School.

She married Dan D. Moore October 1, 1929, at Logan, Iowa. He preceded her in death.

On August 25, 1969 she married Don Rouse. He preceded her in death in October of 1989.

She was a longtime employee of Burke’s Fashion in Blair. She was a charter member of the Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles and its Auxiliary, and was an active member of the County Bible Church and the Silver Chords.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son Harold Dean; one brother, Donald “Bud” Pearce and one sister, Darlene Smith.

Surviving her in death are three sons, Neil E. Moore, Charleston Illinois; Larry R. Moore, Blair, and Lowell Moore, North Platte, Nebraska; one daughter, Wanda J. Marsh, Papillion, Nebraska; three step-children; Mick Rouse, Blair; Marta Goodwin, Bothell, Washington and Grace Holman, Snohomish, Washington; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren and one sister, Nadene Wulf, Blair
