Services were Saturday, March 18 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont for Albert C, Row of Arlington who died March 15, 1989 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont at the age of 80. Rev. Charles Swanson of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church officiated. Burial was in Hooper Cemetery.
Albert C. Row was born December 28, 1908 at Hooper. He grew up at Hooper.
He married Marian von Rein November 18, 1937 at Fremont. They lived at Hooper for two years after their marriage.
He lived at Scribner for six years and at Seward, Nebraska. He had lived at Arlington for the past 40 years.
A former volunteer fireman at Hooper, he was a section foreman for the Chicago, Northwestern Railroad for 26 years. He was Arlington School custodian for 23 years and retired at the age of 62.
He is survived by his wife, Marian; a son, Don Row of Austin, Minnesota; a daughter, Janet Row of Arlington. One sister, Lillie Dalrymple of Marysville, Washington; and five grandchildren also survive him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ellen Bay Row; brothers, Howard and Isaac; and a sister, Edna Soles.
Pallbearers were Ron Pronske, Drew von Rein, Scott Bang, Vernon Floyd, Darrell Honeywell and Ernest von Rein.
Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge or arrangements for the services.
