She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church and attended Sunday School nearly every Sunday growing up. Her faith continued to grow as a resident of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.

She is survived by her parents, Carmen and Clifford Larsen of Blair; sons and daughter-in-law, Dan and Brandi Petersen, and Ken Petersen, all of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Pat Lynch of West Des Moines, Iowa; six grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law, Al and Rita Larsen of Herman, and a sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Gene Engelkemier of Huntsville, Ala.
