Kathryn P. Petersen, 80, of Blair died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, in Blair.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Kathryn Pearl Petersen was born Jan. 8, 1921 in Kilgore, Neb. She married Arnold Petersen on Nov. 2, 1940, in Fort Calhoun.

She was a Blair resident for the majority of her life. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3215.

She will be most remembered for putting other’s needs ahead of her own, and her unconditional love for all of her family.

She is survived by her twin daughters, Coni Stessman and Yvonne Rowlette, both of Omaha, sisters, Francis Bowser and Louise Bowser, both of Fort Calhoun, five grand-children and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and a sister, June Jipp.

Memorials are suggested to the Scleroderma Research Foundation.
