Louis Petersen of Uehling Died Oct. 1

Louis Petersen of Uehling, who died October 1, was buried at the Elim Lutheran Cemetery following funeral services at the Elim Lutheran Church in Swaburg October 4.

Mr. Petersen was born May 12, 1887, on a farm near Herman. Most of his life was spent in the Uehling community.

He was married to Dora Marie Anderson at Fremont in 1905. They lived on a farm until they retired in 1949 and moved to Uehling.

Mr. Petersen was baptized in the Lutheran faith and was a member of the Elim Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Alvis of Hooper; daughters, Mrs. Earl Wagner of Hooper and Mrs. George Nelson of Craig; eight grandchildren; seven great-grand-children; brothers, Anton of Hooper and Julius of Fremont; sister, Mrs. John Ladd of Fulton, Calif.

He was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, three sisters and a brother.
