Luscynda Petersen, 90 of Barnette died at her home Sept. 9, 1996.

Luscynda Petersen was born Aug. 5, 1906 in Blair to David and Louise Christ Gustin.

She married Robert Petersen on June 23, 1926. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1993.

She moved to the Hopewell area in 1969, where she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Carolyn Nelson; three grandchildren, William R. Welch, Wayne Nelson and Vickie Jo Petersen; two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by one son, Robert Petersen, Jr., Versailles; two daughters, Donnabelle Bolton, Barnett and Hertha Daniels; one brother, Clarence Gustin, Osseo, Mich.; one sister, Dorothy Olson, Omaha; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters and many other relatives and friends.

Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles was in charge of arrangements.
