Mark W. Petersen, 49

Blair native Mark W. Petersen, 49, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Southwood Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

Mark W. Petersen was born Feb. 6, 1957, in Blair to T. Richard and Mary Lou (Solfermoser) Petersen. He was raised near Herman and graduated from Tekamah-Herman High School. He attended Northeast Community College.

Mr. Petersen was self-employed in the health and nutrition field.

He was a member of Lincoln’s Southwood Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy; son, Matthew and daughter, Kiley, both of Tekamah; step-daughter, Ashleigh Lang of Lincoln; parents, T. Richard and Mary Lou Petersen of Herman; mother-in-law, Marilyn Wiler of Lincoln; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Alan Schjodt of Blair, Miriam and John Hollingsworth of Smithville, Mo.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Noel and Angie Petersen of Herman and Daniel and Jill Petersen of Atlanta, Ga.; brother-in-law and wife, Terry and Sandra Wiler of Lincoln; nieces, nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
