Nettie Petersen, 78, Died at Hospital Last Thursday

Mrs. Herman Petersen, known to her friends as Nettie L. Petersen, died at Memorial Community Hospital on Thursday, January 16th.

She was 78 years of age, having been born at Kennard on January 13, 1897. Mrs. Petersen and her husband, Herman, built a new house on south 13th Street a number of years ago and had lived in retirement. Mr. Petersen had preceded her in death.

Two sons and a daughter survive Mrs. Petersen. They are Jack H. Petersen of Blair and Ralph Petersen of Las Vegas, Nevada and Mrs. Iva Note of Edmond, Washington. There are eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A brother, Grover Wilkins, lives at Fremont and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Johns lives in the state of Washington.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Blair this afternoon (Monday) at 2 p.m. The Rev. Gordon Patterson will conduct the service and burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Loren Biffar, William Peck, Robert Wilkins, Donald (Bud) Jensen, Bill Smith and Wilford Petersen.
