Rosa Schormann, 95

Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 19 at Ludvigsen Funeral Chapel in Fremont for Rosa Schormann, 95, who died February 17, 1991 at the Hooper Care Center. Rev. Donald Levenhagen is officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery north of Arlington.

Rosa Schormann was born November 28, 1895 in Dellihausen, Germany to Henry G. and Louisa Gehrcke Schormann. She came to the United States with her parents and brothers and sisters in May, 1898. They settled in the Arlington area.

During her adult years she lived with Olga and August Stranghoener on a farm near Arlington. They moved to Fremont in 1945. After the death of her sister in 1980, she moved to the Hooper Care Facility.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ludvigsen Mortuary is in charge of arrangements for the services.
