Phillip L. Schreffler, 61

Phillip L. Shreffler, 61, of Elkhorn, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. A celebration of life will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 1, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Omaha.

Phillip Schreffler was born Aug. 10, 1941, at Dornsife, Penn., to David and Florence (Witmer) Schreffler. He graduated from Mahoney Joint High School in Herndon, Penn., in 1959. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 until 1963. In 1978, he joined the MACC company in Blair as a partner (note: Mid America Computer Company).

He is survived by special friend, Patty Hemphill of Elkhorn; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joelle and Jason Kesling of Herman, and Kimberly and Aaron Brown of Lincoln; three grandchildren; 11 siblings; brothers, Robert of Georgia, Mark of Blair, James, Clarence and Glen, all of Pennsylvania; sisters, Leah Lesher, Ruth Daniel, Renee Wilhelm, Linda Schieb, Suann Stieley, and Debra Kish, all of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dean, Dale and Gene, and by an infant sister.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Aplastic Anemia and MDS Foundation, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Celebration of Life Service 12 p.m. Fri., St. Andrew Episcopal Church, Omaha. Private Family Graveside Services. No visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Aplastic Anemia MDS Foundation or Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.
