Kristi L. Sell, 53, of Modale, Iowa, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013.

Visitation with the family will be from noon to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, with prayer service at 2:30 p.m., at Hennessey Funeral Home, 310 E. Huron St., in Missouri Valley, Iowa. A private committal will be in Calhoun Cemetery near Missouri Valley. A lunch and fellowship time will be at the Modale United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 108 E. Haley St., in Modale, Iowa, after the service.

Kristi L. Sell was born Feb. 29, 1960, in Nebraska City to James and Dixie (Donnelson) Sell.

She graduated from West Harrison High School in Mondamin, Iowa.

She worked for the last 11 years as a nurse’s aide at Crowell Home in Blair. Prior to that, she worked at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair for many years.

She enjoyed fishing and going to the casinos.

She is survived by her father and stepmother, James and Rose Sell of Mondamin; sisters: Shari McFerrin (Edward "Sonny") of Modale and Lori (Mike) Walker of Omaha; brothers: Rick (Lynette) of Modale, Jim (Judy) of Joice, Iowa, Terry (Mona) of Neola, Iowa; and Randy ofHoney Creek, Iowa; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dixie; and niece Brandi Goebel.
