Crowell Home Resident Died There Friday

Fern McCaig, a resident of Crowell Memorial Home, died at the Home’s infirmary last Friday, February 18th. She was 76 years of age. She had been born at Brady, Nebraska August 7, 1895.

Miss McCaig had spent 10 years as a teacher in public schools and 6 years as a missionary in China. For eleven years she had been pastor of Methodist churches in various places in Nebraska.

She is survived by two brothers, Dr. Sidney McCaig, of Austin, Texas and by Frank McCaig of Omaha.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, at the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Gates conducting the service. Burial will be made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.
