Ella E. Schroder, 86

Funeral services for Ella E. Schroder, age 86, of Blair were held Saturday, September 8 at Trinity Lutheran Church, with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Ella E. Faber was born on June 3, 1904 at Campbell, Nebraska to John and Anna Koinzan Faber. She attended school in rural Campbell, Nebraska.

She was married on October 8, 1924, in Julesberg, Colorado.

During World War II she worked at the Navy Depot in Hastings, Nebraska.

She lived most of her life in Hastings, having moved to Blair in 1988 to be with her son and daughter-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Virginia Schroder, Blair; three grandchildren, Paula K. Schroder, Linda S. Phelps, Jerry Schroder; two sisters, Elsa Hohlfeld, San Diego, California, and Gold Steiner, Holstein, Nebraska; and two brothers, Victor Faber, Holstein, Nebraska and Rudy Faber of Heartwell, Nebraska.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
