Robert Petersen Jr., 70

Herman native Robert “Pete” Petersen Jr., 70, died March 29, 2005, at Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be in the Hopewell Church in Versailes, Mo.

Robert Petersen Jr. was born Nov. 20, 1934, in Herman to Robert and Luscynda (Gustin) Petersen.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He and his wife, Nancy, had moved to Lake Havasu City three years ago from Missouri. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles and was an active member of the Lake Havasu “Over the Hill Gang” car club, and a former member of Iron Workers Local 21 in Omaha.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy; daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Marc Janssen of South Beloit, Ill: son and daughter-in-law, Robert III and Katie Petersen of Traverse City, Mich.; four grandchildren; sister, Donna Bolton of Versailles, Mo., and many family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Jo; and two sisters; Hertha Daniels and Carolyn Nelson.

Memorials are suggested to the Diabetes Association, 1280 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038-1132, or the American Heart Association, 1280 S. Parker Road, Denver, CO 80231.

PETERSEN—Robert Jr. “Pete”, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, ZA. He was born on November 20, 1934 in Herman, NE to Robert and Luscynda (Gustin) Petersen. Robert was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. He moved to Lake Havasu City from Missouri 3 years ago, with his wife, Nancy. Robert enjoyed working on Cars and Motorcycles and was an active member of the Lake Havasu “Over the Hill Gang Car Club” and a former member of the Iron Workers Local 21 in Omaha, NE.

Robert is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Peters of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter, Brandi (Marc) Janssen of South Beloit, Ill; son, Robert (Katie) Petersen III of Traverse City, MI; four grandchildren; sister, Donna Bolton of Versailies, MO. and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Jo and two sisters, Hertha Daniels and Carolyn Nelson.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel. Interments will be at the Hopewell Church in Versailies, MO.
