Wilma Petersen, 89

Services for Wilma Petersen, 89 of Blair who died at Memorial Community Hospital July 22, 1994 will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 at First Lutheran Church with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Wilma Petersen was born June 21, 1905 at Fort Calhoun to William and Clara Tietgen. She attended Green School in Rural Fort Calhoun.

She married Walter Petersen in Logan, Iowa November 30, 1929. They had lived and farmed in rural Blair since 1930.

She was a member of the Hillside Extension Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Freida Neuhouse and three brothers, Don Tietgen, William Tietgen and Howard Tietgen.

She is survived by her husband, Walter; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Colleeta Petersen of Blair; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Dick Lowe, Oakland, Nebraska; seven grandchildren, Kent Petersen, Greg Petersen, Lori Kelley, Tami Thompson, Vicki Nelson, Gordon Lowe and Michael Lowe; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Werblow, Dodge, Nebraska and Joan Gage, Fort Calhoun.

Memorials may be directed to either the Blair or Herman Rescue Squads.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
