Services Planned For Barbara L. Peterson

Barbara L. Peterson passed away in Eugene, Oregon, on Monday, August 6, at the age of 36.

She was born to Robert and Irma Christensen on November 24, 1942. She attended Blair schools and graduated in 1960. She was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Blair. She attended Immanuel School of Nursing and graduated in 1963 as a registered nurse. She worked as a surgical nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene.

In 1964 Barbara was married to Brian Peterson, who survives her. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Irma Christensen; 2 brothers, Robert of Elkhorn, Ne., and George of Las Vegas, Nevada and one sister, Mary of Blair, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Christensen of Blair. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Robert Christensen.

Services will be held in Eugene on Friday, August 10, and memorial services in Blair will be announced later.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
