Services for Peggy McCain, 81 who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair June 19, 1992 will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Schwartz officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Peggy Niels was born December 12, 1910 at Nijmegen, Holland to Johannes and Elizabeth Kremers Niels. She moved to Calgary, Canada in her infancy and later to Chicago, Illinois where she attended Bradwell School.

She married Arthur McCain at Blair January 12, 1966.

She had been in the food service for many years. She owned and operated Peg’s Café in Blair.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula (Mrs. Mark) Kruthoff; grandchildren, Heidi Reyzlik, Josh Biffar and Sarah Kruthoff, all of Blair; one sister, Mary Tatge, Stager, Illinois.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
