#1-Published in the Tribune February 28, 1917

As we go to press we learn of the death of Mrs. Margaret McCann who passed away at her home in Kennard at eleven o’clock this morning.

We have but a few facts of her life at hand but a complete obituary will be given in our next issue.

She is the wife of Isaac McCann deceased, and is the mother of eight children all of who are living but one son, Delmar, who died a few years back.

Mrs. McCann had been a resident of Nebraska for forty-five years and was highly respected by those who knew her.

She had been afflicted with erysipelas for the past three weeks but yesterday was able to be up and assist in the household duties. The morning she appeared in a sort of unconscious stupor and her children were sent for and she passed away at the hour stated.

As yet no arrangements have been made for the funeral.
