A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10 in Carman Cemetery in Carman, Illinois for Marjorie Elizabeth McCannon, 72 of Sun City, California and formerly of Burlington who died May 8, 1995 at the home of her daughter in Englewood, Colorado. She was cremated.

Marjorie Elizabeth McCannon was born December 3, 1922 in Morning Sun. She was the daughter of George and Mary Roberts.

She married Walter McCannon, Jr., September 20, 1941 at St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Brenda Loewe of Englewood, Colorado and Mary Carlson of Stromsburg, Nebraska; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and her mother-in-law, Edna McCannon of Burlington.
